Matthew West and Josh Wilson!

Last night we took the girls and their friends (Lauren and Molly) to Issaquah to see Matthew West and Josh Wilson, and what a great time it was!!!! The Schroeder's also had tickets.

I just love how Emily is a creeper, she really wanted to be in this photo!! She had recently been burned in group photos and been far away, no way it was going to happen tonight!

Kelly LOVED Josh Wilson, she just thought he was the B-E-S-T!!! So as soon as Matthew West stopped signing she ran out of the concert to get in line for a photo and to have him sign his newest album and her $20(!?!?!?!) t-shirt! It is actually funny, Matthew West until last night was her favorite Male Singer (Adam Lambert, WAS number two!!) SHE is the reason I made the final decision to even get tickets! Any ways Adam is now maybe 3rd place, with Matthew West at a very CLOSE second! So sorry Matt!

More fake Thanksgiving....

Well, it was a great day at the folks house, the food was out of this world mom is a great chef and hostess. Everyone had a great time even Emma Jean! Here are a few more shots of the family.....

Kirk and I have sat at the same spot for 18 Thanksgiving dinners, it is funny how the table can grow to make sure we all fit, since we keep adding more people! This is the first year we didn't have any guests, just the Bennett clan.

Fake Thanksgiving....

Mom and Dad for the last few years have headed to Tucson the weekend before Thanksgiving to hang out with her side of the family, many of them (not my parents) participate in a bike race, there are four generations of MacKinney's riding bikes. Mom said it is really fun to hang out with her siblings and nieces and nephews. Mom and Dad have made it into a vacation and this year they are driving a car from here to Mexico so that when they are down there this year they will have their own transportation.

Emma Jean is so tiny and quiet..... her little hands are so soft she is a beautiful baby. Look at all her hair, that is more hair than both of my girls had in 1 year combined.
The clan, we took a few photos, it was really funny, we did this 13 years ago when Emily was Emma Jean's age and dad got stuck on the couch and had to roll off, take notice he is not sitting on there this time. I love that Sophie (the pug) is in the photo, she thinks she is human, dumb dog. (shh don't let Riley hear me call her daughter Sophie dumb, she will get really mad at me!)

Day # 2 part 2 of 3

This is the actual head of the T-Rex, Sue. It is too heavy to put on the actual skeleton, it was amazing to see up close, she had new teeth growing in!

Okay if you don't know this Huffer Family fact by now, this will help prove it, Kelly loves rocks. She loves the pretty ones, the cool ones, the bright ones, the big ones, the ugly ones, the little ones, you get the point, she likes all ROCKS. I let her use my new baby Rebel, and she took over 100 photos of rocks, I had to laugh and be thankful that it was on REAL FILM!

So the T-Rex, Sue was so great, I used to watch "Land of the Lost" as a kid and the whole dinosaur thing made me crazy scared, imagine that thing chasing you!
Okay so we saw most of the Field Museum and this was the girls second favorite picture. They just loved this silly pirate.

The Tower--- Day #2 September 3, 2009

The girls had no fear of stepping out unto the glass, infact they would have stayed there a long while if others were not waiting for a turn! I am thankful that we were there by 10 am so we didn't have to wait in a very long line, some days I guess it can take over 2 hours to make it to the top! 103 stories high, and only 5 inches of glass between you and the street, it almost made me cry. I do have a photo to prove that I stepped out unto it!

So this is where we had famous stuffed pizza, it was so delicious, Kirk was only able to eat ONE piece, Kelly and Emily should have shared a piece. One thing that was very different was the actual top, it was not cheese but sauce! YUM!

This is a great photo of my three favorite people in a great city, what a beautiful time we had.

I still had plans for everyone, the day was young, but the girls were worn out. They needed to rest, so we walked for about another mile to catch a bus, good times spent together!

A walk on the beach---

This was mostly my view, everyone behind me. Kirk was throwing for the dog, Kelly was busy stuffing her pockets, and Emily was the big complainer "she was tired"! Kelly's pockets were so full that her pants at one point fell off. Emily did stop whining and started to have some fun, I think when she figured out we were not going home just because she wanted to! This is the dogs favorite place in the world, in the water chasing his Frisbee, you can see it, it's close to him but for some reason he could not always find it that well. It was fun to watch him swim and swim! I even got them to sit together and smile a real smile, not the big cheesy kind. Where we live is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I love not paying the taxes on this beach front property and being able to use it.

At almost 13, she is always striking a pose. I took a few pictures of her and some how they are all a little blurry! But you get the point! Kelly is always collecting stuff on the beach, mostly rocks. She wanted to collect this stuff and I said how about we take a picture in stead, that way I don't have to smell it too!

Lexy is S-i-x-t-e-e-n---- where did the time go?

We were out of town on Lexy's birthday so Gma was kind enough to make dinner for the entire family on Monday to celebrate. These are the typical photos I get of Lexy, she is turning her head as soon as she sees me with the camera.

Lexy took my camera so she could post what a "normal" 16 years old room looks like, you can click on the picture to get better details.

Now when there is a family birthday Riley gets a little mixed up and thinks the party and cake are all for her!!!! She got upset when we had Lexy blow out the candles. Lexy after she blew out the candles.... there are many candles missing, but this was one of the only pictures without a hand or two reaching in for a candle!

Christmas... well Christmas Eve at The Kelly's house

This was the biggest and best surprise for Christmas, because of the snow my parents could not get out to head to Mexico For the first time in years all the clan was able to hang out and just be family. Dad was surprisingly fun and happy, he had us laughing and very thankful that they were around.Emily is wearing a lamp shade that Krissy made for her, while Riley is wearing a little hat that Krissy pick up for her.
