11 1/2 years old today!

I know that mature people always told me that these years would go by quickly... now I am living it, watching my girls grow up right before my eyes. It is hard to believe that Kelly is 11 1/2 today. She loves that it is always on St. Patrick's Day, so she will never forget.

Wow, I really love this girl! Thank you Lord for letting her be in our family, don't know what life would be like without her.

Ernesto's maybe a dump but it has great food!

The only thing that would have been better about this photo would be that Emily and Mom could have been in it. I am still sad that we were in Mexico for almost 2 weeks and Mom wasn't there, that was just weird first time ever for me! This was such a great dinner, Kelly a tooth here four years ago! She has always talked about how good the ribs were and now Kirk has an understanding of that as well.

Emily is NOT a rib girl, they make a great club sandwich!
Kelly was so happy, and yes they were as good as she remembered them to be!

Emily's first drink...

At the end of our meal they served Emily a "drink" she thought it was coffee and milk, WRONG it was Kahlua! Everyone but Kelly got one, it is official Emily no longer looks like a little girl!
In this picture she looks like she might like it. I wish I had video of this she almost spit it all over the table! HAHAHA it was NOT as good as she thought it might be. Surprise it was not just coffee! :)

Drinks in Mexico....

Kirk and his small Margarita, glad he didn't ask for the large one! :) He was so relaxed on this trip, it was nice to see him like that, it had been too long!
No one would believe that I don't drink, this picture would say other wise! I act more and more like my mom every day!

The girls loved this drink, what a great night that was, good food, great view and fabulous company! Doesn't get much better than this!

This is what happens when you are old...

Kirk has a hard time believeing that our other dogs ( while I was growing up) were not allowed in the house, yet my father lets Buddy get up on the table while we are playing cards! We took some pictures to show how silly it is. My father thinks the dog is a human!

Girls at bedtime in Mexico

These are from Kelly's camera this is what sisters do after it's lights out, and we thought they were sleepy! Yet there are about 30 of these kinds of photos, from just one night. These two girls make our lives so rich, we are so thankful for them!
