AWANA Awards

Kelly earned her Excellence Award, meaning she has completed 2 of 10 books to complete an AWANA Citation. She worked hard this year since she has so much on her plate for a 10 year old. I was very proud of her. Way to go Kelly!
Emily completed her 5th book for towards her AWANA Citation this year and earned her Milestone Award, half way done! Kirk and I are the directors for her club (Trek) so we get to hand out all the awards to the Trekers so we got our photo taken with her!

AWANA has been great in our lives, our girls (and me, too) have many Bible Scriptures hidden in their hearts that I am hoping for years to come they will be able to walk boldly with Christ and serve Him.

While sitting quietly during AWANA awards I had a piece of string so I started to make "Jacob's Ladder. " Kelly & Ella were sitting close to me and they were amazed at what I could do! So yesterday Kelly was driving me crazy to teach her... so I did. Her picture should be first because she did it before Em but I uploaded it wrong....

This photo has been on my fridge for 6 years I walk by it and I smile, this year Em asked if they could pose again just like this one and I am so glad that they did! Having our daughters in our house is such a blessing but after looking at these two photos I realize how quickly time is passing me by. I am praying that I am enjoying the moments and making great memories for years to come.

Well I found these photos on the camera, Em tooke them. It appears to me that Kelly and David were making the scarey scene for a movie and David got shot and Kelly was trying to help him.

WOW.... talk about perfect form.... her bottom is off the water and she has a great bend in her back. Coach Neil would be proud... I was so excited to get this photo! Kelly was so happy to see this too, she has been working hard on her back stroke starts, she BROKE two records at this meet of course one was in the backstoke!

Super Swimmers....

We attended a meet in Marysville a couple of weekends ago and I took about 400 pictures, mostly for the 10 and under swimmers since the regular photographer wasn't going to be there. I got some really good shots of the girls.

Kelly and Olivia, they are great swim buddies, it has been really great Kelly to have a friend that is actually a year younger than her but in the same grade. Kelly looks short in this photo but they are the same height, in fact I think Kelly is tad taller than Livi.

So Em got this candy that is SUPER SOUR, so sour that she won't eat it. She thought it would be REALLY funny to trick Riley into having some.... That face says it all
