Kelly is 11

Mariel, Molly, Kelly, Olivia, and Ella

Kelly turned 11 yesterday and we actually had a friend party last night! She had four of her friends over after swim. They had dinner with us we played a few games and then went to DQ for ice cream cake. All in all it was a great day! She looks happy too.

She is still hopeful SOME ONE will get her the 5th Percy Jackson book.... little does she know that my brother got it for her.... she will be so happy tonight when she gets it at the September party at the folks house. (mom's and David's bday are the 19 and Susan's is the 27).

Creeeeper.....

Having a tween and teen I have learned all sorts of new words creeper is one of them.... do you know what that means? Emily is actually doing it in this photo. She is "creeping" into a photo. Therefore she is a creeper, one who is not invited to be part of the photo yet gets in anyways!

Kelly did a couple of these ticked off faces while I was trying my best to get a good shot, she'll be mad if she finds out that I posted this photo. But I just love the way Emily got into it, it reminds me of the years ago when she would repeat her "Abc's" while I was trying to get video of little Kelly.

Ice Cream.....

This is a true story... Kel loves chocolate ice cream (thanks dad), we can often find her eating it like this FROM THE CARTON....

All is fine untill there is none left then she looks like this....

So sad yet moments ago she was so happy!

First Day of (home) school

When did our daughters get so mature looking... I look at this photo and get a little sad to think our little girl days are so over and part of me doesn't want to allow them to get older and spread their wings. Yet if I look over the hours and days we have spent together it does add up to this... almost 11 & 14! Kelly & Emily 9.13.2010
