Raspberry Flummery by Kelly

Kelly attends HC all day with Emily and takes a variety of classes, one of her favorites is American Girl. At the end of each book series they have a party, which includes each girl cooking and bring something to share from that era. They just finished up the Felicity series.
Kelly really likes her picture taken! :)

They turned out so perfect! She only wished that she would have left a couple whole raspberries to have on the side of the dish! Well done Kelly. I guess they were a big hit since she didn't bring home any left overs.

It was REALLY cold here... bird of the air

This poor bird is really only maybe one-third this size but it was all puffed up to keep warm. Poor thing, Kelly put out lots of bird seed since the ground was really frozen and we didn't think they could find food.
Yet I am reminded of God's Word,
Matthew 6: 25-26
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
If you remember nothing else today, remember GOD LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!

Happy New Year!!!

What a great Christmas break we had. Kirk and I both were home for five days during the break, we have not had five days off together since September 2009 when we headed to Chicago, then to North Webster to see Kirk's dad. Needless to say we did some work and I did some much needed napppppppping... caught twice, at least.
My girls didn't think I would post these... Like I can't laugh at myself.
